Nov. 11

Car v Deer: Deputies responded to a car versus deer accident on County Hwy. HH at 12:08 AM. No human injuries were reported.

Crash: A single-vehicle crash was reported at 7:24 AM on the 1700 block of Granite Ridge Rd. The 23-year-old female driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Ill-Gotten Script: A 45-year-old man called deputies to report he found a classified ad on Craigslist in which an individual was seeking prescription medication.

Trespassin’ Trouble: A 43-year-old man called deputies at 10:47 PM to report a 21-year-old man was trespassing at his 4th Ave. home in Almond. The older man said he did not want the younger man in his residence.

Nov. 12

Drunk Driver: Deputies arrested a 27-year-old man for his first OWI offense at 2:53 AM near Hwy. 54 and County Trunk BB. The man was also cited for operating with a positive blood alcohol content and a license restriction violation.

Ticket Trauma: A 55-year-old woman called deputies at 11:29 AM to report she was upset about having received a traffic ticket.

Camper Creep: A 40-year-old woman called deputies to report she suspected a 41-year-old man had broken into her camper as it was parked on the 2100 block of County Trunk Y at 3:34 PM.

Mailbox Fatality:  A 43-year-old man reported at 6:31 PM to deputies that a 52-year-old woman, who remained at the scene until law enforcement arrived, struck the mailbox at his Pond St. home in Amherst. Value of damage was not immediately available.

Looking for Mars: A caller reported a suspicious person and vehicle near County trunks F and W at 11:43 PM; the person was merely star-gazing.

Nov. 13

Domestic Disturbance: A 52-year-old man called deputies to report a disturbance at a County Trunk T home in Amherst at 12:26 AM.

Drunk Driver: Deputies arrested a 25-year-old man for operating under the influence, as well as operating with a positive alcohol content, following a traffic stop for reckless driving at 3:08 AM near Hwy. 54 and County Trunk A in Amherst.

Noise Complaint: A 55-year-old woman called deputies at 10:08 PM to complain about a loud machine from her neighbor on the 1300 block of Woodview Drive.

Suspicious Clown: A 56-year-old woman called deputies at 12:50 AM to report what she referred to as a “suspicious clown” on the 5500 block of 80th St. South in Wis. Rapids. Additional details are pending.
