Margaret E. Dean
Margaret E. Dean, 82, Reedsburg, an Amherst native, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Queen of the Apostles Parish at St. Mary Church in Tomah, with Monsignor Richard W. Gilles officiating. Burial will be in the Hustler Cemetery in Juneau County.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the Mass.

Mrs. Dean was born May 23, 1934, in Amherst in Portage
County, a daughter of the late Isadore and Francis (Konkol) Patoka.
She was married to Francis J. “Bud” Dean in 1957. He died in
They resided in Milwaukee and later in Brookfield.
She worked for the Milwaukee Public School System as a cook
along with being a homemaker. In 2003, she and her husband moved to the New
Lisbon area to be closer to their children.
During the last several years, she resided at the Sauk
County Health Care Center.
Survivors include three sons, Scott (Julie Ann) Dean, New
Lisbon, Greg (Julie Ann) Dean, Elroy, and Todd (Julie Ann Pogantsch) Dean, New
Lisbon; one stepgranddaughter, Ashley Daubs; three brothers, Clifford Patoka,
Raymond (Lucille) Patoka and Danny (Bonnie) Patoka; nieces; and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Edwin,
Harold and Max Patoka; three sisters, Verona Stuczynski, Virginia Dombrowski and
Chesterine Stremkowski; and one infant sibling.
