Jessica Lee Kowal
Jessica Lee Kowal, 38, Milwaukee, wife of a former Stevens
Point area man and sister of a Plover woman, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016,
after a battle with ovarian cancer.
A gathering of memories will be held at the Schlitz Audubon
Nature Center, 1111 E. Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 26.
Mrs. Kowal was born April 5, 1978, in West Allis, a daughter
of Bruce Wojciechowski and Debra Powers.
She was married to Jonathan “JJ” Kowal April 14, 2006, in
Stevens Point.
They resided in Milwaukee.
She worked as a private nanny to several families in the
Milwaukee area.
Survivors include her husband, Jonathan, Milwaukee; her
mother and stepfather, Debra and Brian Powers; her father, Bruce Wojciechowski;
her maternal grandfather, Doug Haydon; three sisters, Tiffany (Ralph) Dowell,
Melissa (Stephen) Christianson, Milwaukee, and Emily (Christopher)
Christianson, Plover; her twin brother, Joshua Wojciechowski; her parents-in-law,
Joseph E. and Rachel Kowal, Stevens Point; two brothers-in-law, Joe (Lauren)
Kowal and Jeremiah (Nikki) Kowal, both of Stevens Point; and one sister-in-law,
Jessica (Michael) Shevy, Owen; six nieces; and five nephews.
