Roger N. Glodowski, 69, Minocqua, a Stevens Point native, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover, with Deacon Vern Linzmeier officiating. Full military honors will follow the service.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Mr. Glodowski was born Sept. 28, 1947, in Stevens Point, a
son of the late Edmund and Jean (Pezewski) Glodowski. He attended P.J. Jacobs
High School.

After high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corps from
August 1966 to August 1972. He was a sergeant.

He was married to Marlene Garski Aug. 7, 1971, at St.
Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover.

After the marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point.

He was employed at Joerns, Bake-Rite, Consolidated Papers
and Trapp Brothers where he retired from in 2003. He also volunteered at
Cassian Fire Department in Oneida County.

After retirement he and his wife moved to the Willow Flowage
in Oneida County.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene, Minocqua; two sons,
Cory (Marie) Glodowski, Stevens Point, and Jason (Tracy) Glodowski, Minocqua;
one daughter, Tracy Glodowski, Minocqua; one brother, Ronald (Eileen) Glodowski,
Stevens Point; four sisters, Patsy (Tony) Hirzy and Rosie (Don) Glodowski, both
of Stevens Point, and Kathy Butler and Carol Lloyd, both of Custer; 11 grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one infant brother, Minfred;
and three brothers, Russell, Harlan and Larry.
