The lunch was held by the Aging and Disability Resource Center and included live Polka music.
Nearly a dozen players from the SPASH Panther JV football squad volunteered their time on Thursday — an annual tradition for the sophomore team — to help provide table service to the elderly and disabled in attendance. The group was chaperoned by Coach Mike Krenz.
“This is a great opportunity for you to help others, pick up some volunteer hours, and represent our school and program well,” said Coach Matt Heilman in an email to the players. “Volunteerism is an important part of our program.”
