Scouts Help Serve Vets

Local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts helped serve local veterans during a recent service-inspired meal event.
Scouts from Pack 290, Pack 297, Troop 201, Troop 290, Troop 297 and Girl Scout troop 6257, are seen above with Pearl Harbor veteran Will Lehner, of Whiting, during the Nov. 14 Military Appreciation Night at Golden Corral.
The scouts passed out coffee and cookies to veterans waiting in line for dinner.
The annual dinner honors anyone who has served in the U.S. Military, including retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves.
