Branch Libraries to Hold Holiday Craft Programs

For the City Times
Three free library craft days have been scheduled at the Almond, Rosholt and Plover branch libraries.
“Nifty Thrift Gifty” will be held at the Plover Library on Dec. 6. An adult session begins at 1 PM, and an all-ages event begins at 4 PM. The program offers a selection of crafts that are easy, inexpensive and make “fabulous” presents. All supplies will be provided.
The Plover Library is located at 2151 Roosevelt Drive.
On Dec. 15, the Rosholt Library will host “Terrariums and Fairy Gardens”. The program offers attendees a chance to build their own little world using either the library’s supplies, or their own glass container, rock collection or other special toys. The event begins at 4 PM for all ages.
Rosholt’s library is located at 137 N Main Street in Rosholt.
The Almond Library will host a Gingerbread House Building Day on Dec. 23 at the Almond Village Hall, 122 Main St. in Almond. The event begins at 4 PM and is open to all ages. Participants will construct their own gingerbread houses, and decorate using candy, cereal, and frosting. All supplies will be provided.
No registration is required for these events. For more information, contact the Almond Library at (715) 366-2151; the Rosholt Library at (715) 677-4512; or the Plover Library at (715) 341-4007.
