Donald D. Slauson

Donald D. Slauson, 79, Rudolph, a Plainfield native, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be at Colburn Leona Cemetery in Adams.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, and again from 10 a.m. Monday until the services.

Mr. Slauson was born Feb. 23, 1937, in Plainfield, a son of
the late Robert and Mildred Slauson.
He was married to Julie Ann McAllister Nov. 10, 1962, in
Wisconsin Rapids. They recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.
He was employed by Consolidated Papers Inc., Wisconsin
Rapids Division, for 34 years and retired Nov. 30, 1986, as supercalendar shift
supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Julie; one son, David (Lisa)
Slauson, Ontario, Canada; two daughters, Sara (Steve) Burgeson, Rudolph, and
Susan (Jerry) Wolf, Marshfield; three sisters, June Swanson, Marcia Price and
Lenora Kiedrowski; five grandsons; and one granddaughter.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and four
sisters.
