Disagreeable Woman: A caller reported a disturbance on the 5000 block of Kennedy Ave. at 2:32 AM involving a 37-year-old woman who refused the leave the residence. The caller then indicated it was a civil matter and no deputies were sent.
Car v Deer: A 49-year-old man reported hitting a deer near County Trunk J and Stroik Ln. at 4:50 PM. No human injuries were reported.
Ran Away From School: Police were called when a 10-year-old girl ran away from an elementary school on Maria Drive at 3:50 PM. The girl’s current status was not immediately clear.
Suspicious Man: A 50-year-old woman called police at 8:20 AM to report a suspicious 51-year-old man on the 1000 block of Maple Bluff Rd.
Unruly Kid: Police were called for an eight-year-old boy who was described as being “unruly” on the 500 block of Fourth Ave. at 9:25 AM.
Harassment: A 33-year-old woman called police at 11:30 AM to report she was being harassed on the 800 block of Illinois Ave.
Teenage Fight: A school liaison officer responded when two teenage girls, ages 15 and 17, were involved in a fight at a school on Northpoint Dr. at 1:26 PM.
Shoplifter: A 38-year-old woman was cited for retail theft after stealing items from a business on the 3200 block of Church St. at 2:21 PM. The value of the items taken were less than $15.
Lost Girl: Police were called when a five-year-old girl left school and became lost on the 2900 block of Blaine St. at 4:23 PM. Officers located the girl and took her home.
Car Vandal: A 21-year-old woman called police at 5:32 PM after she discovered an unknown person has smashed the driver’s side window on her vehicle as it was parked on the 2200 block of Main St. Value of the damage is estimated at $150.
Disorderly Conduct: Police arrested a 19-year-old man on a probation violation following an incident of disorderly conduct and vandalism at a business on the 3300 block of Business Park Dr. The man allegedly damaged tires of a 22-year-old man, valued at $150.
Nov. 30
You’re Grounded: Deputies located two juvenile boys, whose ages weren’t reported, for being on the streets after the 11 PM curfew near McDill Ave. and Willow St. at 2:11 AM. The children were warned and turned over to their parents.
Late Night Mechanic: Deputies stopped to check on a suspicious 21-year-old on the 2600 block of Post Rd. at 2:51 AM. It turns out the man was fixing his exhaust.
