Stevens Point Noon Optimist Club Honors Local Student

As part of its youth appreciation project, the Stevens Point Noon Optimist Club has honored Aiden Moore, a sixth grader from the Point of Discovery School with the November Youth of the Month Award.
Moore is the daughter of Jeremy and Jennifer Moore.
Aiden was nominated by her teachers because of her joyful and happy spirit, friendliness, and constant display of a positive, can-do attitude.
“She is always compassionate to her peers and puts the needs of others before her own,” said Cathy Barbier, teacher at Point of Discovery School. “Aiden is a young lady who epitomizes her Point of Discovery Schools’ Habits of Success mission”.
The Stevens Point Noon Optimist Club has been honoring local youth through youth appreciation for many years. Youth Appreciation is the most popular program sponsored by clubs throughout Optimist International, with more than 2,000 clubs participating each year.
