De Pere, out of the Fox River Classic Conference, drops to 1-1 with the loss.

Junior Guard Drew Blair had the hot hand for the Panthers finishing with a game high 25 points. Beau Rosenthal dropped in 18 and Keon’te Williams added 11 points.

The Red Birds managed to stay within striking distance through much of the first half before the Panthers took a 34-23 lead into the break.

De Pere closed to within 41-38 at the 11:58 mark of the second half before the Beau Rosenthal-Drew Blair combination kicked in to high gear to pull away down the stretch.

“Drew Blair got hot from 3-point land, so he and I went two-man and it opened the floor for me because they were forced to guard him,” explained Rosenthal.
