Mary E. Stasko
Mary Elizabeth Stasko, 89, Doylestown, a former longtime
Plover resident, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec.
17, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Beaver Dam.
Visitation will be at the Kingdom Hall from at 2 p.m.
Saturday until the services.

Mrs. Stasko was born Oct. 15, 1927, in Hobart, Ind., a
daughter of the late Frank and Inez Swan.
She was married to Henry “Hank” Stasko June 18, 1949, in
Hobart, Ind. He died April 29, 2004.
They settled in Plover where her husband worked as a
carpenter for about 30 years and served as an elder in the congregations of
Jehovah’s Witnesses in Stevens Point and Plover.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in January
1959.
They later moved to Sun Prairie and Madison before retiring
in Rio.
Survivors include five children, Michael (Tina), Patricia
(Jim), Cheryl (Will), Chuck and Tom (Kimberly); one sister, Patricia Krulik;
one brother, Leon (Char) Swan; three grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Frank Swan.
