Diane M. Pichelman, 66, Plover, a former Merrill resident, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at St. John Lutheran Church in Merrill, with the Rev. David Szeto and the Rev. Steven Hulke officiating. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery in Merrill.

Visitation is scheduled at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home in Merrill from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the service.

Mrs. Pichelman was born Dec. 24, 1949, in Merrill, a daughter
of the late Norman and Leona (Baumann) Schmidt.

She was married to Rodney Pichelman Aug. 3, 1968. He died
Nov. 6, 2009.

They owned and operated Rod’s Wrecker Service in Merrill for
37 years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Merrill,
where she served on the Board of Stewardship and was a member of the Ladies
Aid. She also attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point and was an
office volunteer there.

She was a former Boy Scout leader.

Survivors include one son, Troy (April) Pichelman, Plover;
one brother, Earl (Linda) Schmidt, Merrill; two sisters, Elvera Neumann, Wausau,
and Lorraine (Fritz) Stevenson, Merrill; and two grandchildren.
