Joan M. Swiander, 84, Stevens Point, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at the Azura Memory Care in Wausau. She was under the care of Interim Hospice & Palliative Care.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with Deacon Vern Linzmeier officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Ms. Swiander was born June 23, 1932, in the town of Linwood,
a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Rucinski) Swiander. She attended
local schools.

She worked at Vetter Manufacturing for 28 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Beverly (Duane) Przybylski,
Amherst Junction; and two sisters, Betty Bella, Stevens Point, and Dolores
Deuel, Whiting.

She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Hedwig
Kawlewski; three other sisters, Mary Gianolia, Dorothy Hopp and Theresa
Weisbrod; and one brother, Frank Swiander.
