Leo J. Levandowski, 85, Mosinee, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016,
at North Ridge Assisted Living in Stevens Point.


A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16,
at St. Casimir Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating.
Burial with full military honors will be in the parish cemetery.


Visitation will be at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens
Point from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until
the Mass.


A memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Mr. Levandowski was born Oct. 16, 1931, in Stevens Point, a son
of the late Frank and Emily (Novak) Levandowski.


He entered the U.S. Army Nov. 13, 1952, in Milwaukee. He
received the Korean Service Ribbon with one Bronze Service Star, United Nations
Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably
discharged Sept. 21, 1954, at Fort Sheridan, Ill.


He was married to Hedwig (Cisewski) Salvinski Sept. 26, 1998,
at St. Casimir Catholic Church.


He farmed all of his life in the town of Dewey.


He was a lifetime member of the Mosinee Veterans of Foreign Wars.


Survivors include his wife, Hedwig; five stepsons, Dave (special friend Brenda) Salvinski, Stevens Point, Paul
(Shelly) Salvinski, Florida, Chet (Marcy) Salvinski, Stevens Point, Leo Salvinski,
Florida, and Jim Salvinski, Stevens Point; one stepdaughter, Shirley (Steve)
Wiesshoff, Florida;two brothers, Norbert, Mosinee, and Benny (Bernice)
Levandowski, Stevens Point; three sisters, Adeline Slumbarski and Bernice
Kawleski, both of Mosinee, and Marion Cachur, Illinois; and many stepgrandchildren
and great-stepgrandchildren.


He was also preceded in death by one stepson, Joseph; and one
brother, Richard.
