Irmgard B. Donath, 88

Irmgard B. Donath, 88, of Stevens Point, passed away December 12, 2016 at Brookdale Apartments while under the care of Ministry Hospice.
Irmgard was born March 17, 1928 in Ansbach, Germany to the late Johann and Frieda (Roedel) Schmidt. She grew up and attended schools in Ansbach.
On August 4th, 1955, she was married to Wallace F. Anderson and immigrated to the United States. She resided in numerous locations around the country while Wallace served in the United States Army. They settled in Stevens Point in the mid 1960’s. She and Wallace later divorced.
On November 11, 1987, she married Manfred Donath in Las Vegas, NV. She resided with Manfred in the Village of Whiting until his passing in November 2006.
Irmgard enjoyed dancing, attending German festivals, traveling, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her children and stepchildren: Christa (Theodore) Strong of Plover, Klaus (Diane) Anderson, Stevens Point, Diane Salvinski, Stevens Point, Sandra Brown (Special Friend Ray Higgins) Amherst, Gary (Peggy) Anderson, Stevens Point, Ingrid (Harry) Weinert, Berlin, Germany, Roland (Nancy) Donath, Marshfield, Brigitte (Thomas) Gilson of Lomira, Gabriele (Thomas) McConnell, Stevens Point.
A sister Emma (David) Treffs, Lexington, Mass.; grandchildren: Christina Mayek(Greg Gutzdorf), Stevens Point, Tara Beals(Brandi), Milwaukee, Joseph Brown (special friend Molly Chase), Milwaukee, Meredith (John) Myshka Wausau, Tyler (Felicia) Salvinski, Eagle River, Justin (Stacy) Salvinski, Richfield, Minn., Brian Anderson, Stevens Point, Daniel Anderson, Wausau, Ashley Anderson, Stevens Point, Rebecca Page(special friend Michael Long), Stevens Point, Leah Sharkey, Appleton, Jeremy and Joshua Donath, and Lisa Gilson.
Great-grandchildren: Jackson, Jillian, and William Gutzdorf, Stevens Point, Harper and Mason Myshka, Wausau, Callie, Gavin, and Kaden Anderson, Appleton, Madelin and Lauren Page, Stevens Point, Tristan Anderson and Nicole Winkler, Stevens Point.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Johanna Kemutmuller, her husband Manfred, and a son Robert Schmidt.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St., Stevens Point. Entombment will follow in Forest Hill Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids.
