Dorothy M. Drefcinski, 81, Stevens Point, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will be in Stevens Point.

Miss Drefcinski was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Park Ridge, a
daughter of the late Edward and Lillian (Kowalski) Drefcinski. She grew up in
Stevens Point, attended St. Peter Grade School and graduated from St. Joseph’s
Academy in 1954.

She worked as a telephone operator for Wisconsin Bell
Company, now AT&T, for 30 years. The last eight years of her career were
spent working in Appleton.

Survivors include five sisters, JoAnn Formella, Ramona
Stepaniak, Mary Jane Meshak, Clara (Frank) Sniadajewski and Dolores (Conrad)
Lepak; four brothers, William, Paul, David (Mary Ann) and Earl (Leona) Drefcinski;
one sister-in-law, Mary Drefcinski; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and one
sister.
