Dec. 19

Deer in Headlights: A caller reported a vehicle hit a deer by the corner of County Trunk B and Elkins Rd. at 2:25 AM.

Fast-Paced Morning: A crash between two vehicles on the 5000 block of Harding Ave. resulting in a 52-year-old woman receiving a citation for driving too fast for conditions at 8:29 AM.

Suicidal Tendencies: A 79-year-old woman called the Sheriff’s Department at 9:10 AM making suicidal statements.

Soliciting: Deputies responded to a call stating a 33-year-old woman was asking for money on Manor Dr. at 9:20 AM.

Mailbox Envy: A 42-year-old male caller reported a vehicle recklessly driving around the corner of N Main St. and John St. The vehicle stuck the callers mailbox and proceeding to drive away at 9:34 AM.

Crash and Run: A 54-year-old man received a citation for an accident on County Trunk Q and Alm Rd. at 3:17 PM. The citation consist of failure to driving too fast for conditions and failure of operator to notify police of an accident.

An Intoxicating Nap: An officer noticed someone lying in the snow at 5:40 PM on the side of the 700 block of Johns Dr. Upon further investigation, the 29-year-old male apparently had too much to drink and was taking a nap in the snowbank. No citations were given.

Probation Violators: Police arrested a 28 and a 29-year-old male who were both arrested on Arlington Pl. for probation violations at 6:54 PM.

Eyes On The Road: A 22-year-old male received a citation for unsafe lane deviation which resulted in a collision with another vehicle on the corner of Main St. and Minnesota Ave.

Dec. 20

Suspicious Vehicle: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle with a 19-year-old female and 29-year-old male driving around the 600 block of Maria Dr. at 3:14 AM.
