Kenneth H. Buttolph

Kenneth H. Buttolph, 78, Iola, an individual instrumental in
the annual Old Car Show in Iola, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Comforts of
Home in Iola.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31,
at North New Hope Lutheran Church in the town of New Hope, with the Rev. Marcia
Sabin officiating. Interment will be in the North New Hope Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church 9:30 a.m. Saturday until
the service.

Mr. Buttolph was born May 4, 1938, in New London, a son of
the late Lucile Isabelle (Hower) and Eugene Buttolph.
He was Krause Publications’ Old Cars Weekly research editor
and an Old Cars Price Guide editor, as well as the publications’ car show
ambassador from the 1970s until he retired in 2001.
He was also the man behind the Iola Car Show’s Blue Ribbon
Concourse. He owned hundreds of old cars during his lifetime, including a 1956
Chevrolet station wagon, 1955 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight and the 1954 Chevrolet
Old Cars panel truck he had built for driving to car shows.
Survivors include several cousins.
