Audrey C. Levandowski, 90, Plover, a longtime resident of
Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at Ministry St. Michael’s
Hospital in Stevens Point following a fall at her home one day earlier.


A memorial celebration of her life will be held this spring.
A notice of the date and time of the service will be published later.


The family requests that memorial donations be made to the
Stevens Point Salvation Army, 1600 Briggs St., Stevens Point, WI 54481, or a
charity of the donor’s choice.


Shuda Funeral Homes & Crematory in Stevens Point and
Plover assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.shudafuneral.com.


Mrs. Levandowski was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Stevens Point,
a daughter of the late Hobart N. and Edith Lorraine (Puariea) Paine. She
graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in May 1944.


She was married to August B. Levandowski Sept. 30, 1944. They
celebrated nearly 65 years of marriage until his death July 25, 2009.


She worked outside of the home after her marriage until they
began their family, and then became a homemaker.


They spent nearly 25 consecutive years of late fall/early
winter in Honolulu, Hawaii, before returning to Wisconsin to run their income
tax preparation business.


She was a member of the Stevens Point Chapter of the
National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) through her
ancestor, Jesse Paine of Massachusetts, a private in the Continental Army
during the Revolutionary War.


Survivors include five children, Sister Lois M. Levandowski,
SSJ, TOSF, Green Bay, Paul T. (Patricia) Levandowski, Fond du Lac, Mark R.
Levandowski, Menomonee Falls, Marla J. (William C. Knudson) Morgan, Marshfield,
and Joel M. (Jane) Levandowski, Eau Claire; five grandchildren; and one
great-granddaughter.


She was also preceded in death by one brother, Hobart J.
Paine; and one sister, Bonnie Jean Wanta.
