Pointers set to host Augustana New Year’s Eve, Oshkosh Wednesday

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) men’s
basketball team will face Augustana (Ill.)
New Year’s Eve in a rematch of the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship
Game at Bennett Court
at Quandt Fieldhouse at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31.

Following a 95-43 win at home over Edgewood
(2-6) Dec. 22, the Pointers (5-3) were set to host 20th-ranked North Central (Ill.) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, and then
will close out their nonconference schedule against Augustana (8-3) Saturday.

UWSP will be at home for the fourth game in a row when it
opens the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) season against
UW-Oshkosh (6-3) at 7 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 4.
