Eunice Lasecke, 84, Stevens Point, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. Edward J. Shuttleworth officiating. Burial will be at the Plover Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, and at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance
of WI Inc.

Mrs. Lasecki was born Feb. 17, 1932, in Plover, a daughter
of the late William Robert Brooks and Ona Viola Cater. She graduated from P.J.
Jacobs High School in 1950.

After graduating from high school, she worked at the Chicago
& Wisconsin Telephone Company.

She was married to Alfred Anton Slowinski (of Al’s
Television and Appliance) and had four children. They later divorced.

She was married to Florian “Red” Lasecke 30 years ago.

She resided the last three years under the care of North
Ridge and North Haven Assisted Living Nursing Home.

Survivors include her husband, Florian “Red” Lasecke; four children,
Rhonda Brooks, Lea Beth (Tom Brown) Cozzetto, Kurt (Peggy) Slowinski and
Melissa (Mark Ritter) Brooks; five siblings, Arvella Wentworth, Dale (Diana)
Brooks, Janie Wherritt, Donald (Lynne) Brooks and Rhody (Charlotte) Brooks;
eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and
Robert Brooks.
