Janet L. Pockat

Janet L. Pockat, 94, Plainfield, the owner of the former
Janet’s Floral in Plainfield, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at ThedaCare Wild
Rose Hospital in Wild Rose.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, in
the Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial will be in the Plainfield
Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Saturday
until the services.

Mrs. Pockat was born Aug. 28, 1922, in Plainfield, a daughter
of the Roy and Lottie (Oestreich) Spear.
She was married to Glen Pockat Dec. 8, 1952. He preceded her
in death.
She owned and operated Janet’s Floral of Plainfield for
several years. She also spent many years working as a bookkeeper.
Survivors include one son, Perry (Debbie) Pockat,
Plainfield; one granddaughter, Tracy (Tom) Hiller, Green Bay; three great-grandchildren;
and one sister-in-law, Rita (Neil) Davis, Pine River.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Curtis and
Scott; and one brother, Milo Spear.
