Irmgard ‘Amy’ Jacob

Irmgard “Amy” Jacob, 91, Wisconsin Rapids, a former longtime
hostess at the former Hot Fish Shop in Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Jan. 4,
2017, at Strawberry Lane Medical Center, Wisconsin Rapids.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. John Grohs officiating.
Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in the town of Grand Rapids in Wood
County at a later date.


Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until
the services.


Memorials may be designated to Immanuel Lutheran Church.


Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.ritchayfuneralhome.com.


Mrs. Jacob was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Breslau, Germany, a
daughter of the late Paul and Freda (Moch) Kuehnel.


She moved to the United States in 1955 with her husband,
Lovell Galloway. He preceded her in death.


She was later married to Roger Jacob. He died Jan. 24, 2010.


She was a hostess at the Hot Fish Shop in Stevens Point for
20 years.

Survivors include one son, Bob (Kathy) Galloway, Verona; two
stepsons, David (Vivian) Jacob and Robert (Sandy) Jacob; 11 grandchildren; and
23 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Fritz
Kuehnel.
