Ardian F. Brandenburg

Ardian Fern Brandenburg, 95, Oak Heights Assisted Living,
Kronenwetter, a Stevens Point native, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14,
at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Wausau, with Pastor Ray Claussen officiating. Burial
will be at a later date at Roseland Cemetery in Marion.


Visitation will be at the church from 12:30 p.m. Saturday until
the service.


The family requests memorials be directed to Pilgrim
Lutheran Church or Aspirus Hospice.


The Buettgen Funeral Home in Schofield assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.HonorOne.com.


Mrs. Brandenburg was born Jan. 7, 1921, in Stevens Point, a daughter
of the late Paul and Eleanor Krueger. She grew up in Stevens Point and graduated
from Stevens Point High School.


She was married to LeRoy “Buck” Brandenburg on Jan. 5, 1947.
He died in 1999.


The couple lived in Marion until his death.


She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Marion
before moving to Wausau to be closer to her family. She lived at Cedar Creek
Senior Living in Rothschild and joined Pilgrim Lutheran Church.


Survivors include one daughter, Pamela (Russell) Meyer,
Wausau; one son, Larry (Connie) Brandenburg, Weston; four grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Gary; and one
brother, Paul Krueger.
