Lawrence ‘Sandy’ Carcy
Lawrence “Sandy” Carcy, 72, town of Dewey, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, while under the care of his wife and Ministry Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Dave Ficken presiding. Interment will be in Linwood Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Thursday until the service.

Mr. Carcy was born April 17, 1944, in Stevens Point, a son
of the late Lawrence Sr. and Barbara (Spencer) Carcy. He grew up in the area
and attended local schools.
He worked as a mechanic for Buetsch Implement in Marathon
City. After acquiring experience with the company, he was able to switch job
positions to become a long-haul truck driver. After years of driving truck, he returned
to the company as a dedicated mechanic to work on machinery. He retired from
Buetsch in 2003 after many years of service.
He was married Lynn Salzwedel Dec. 25, 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Carcy; four children,
Michelle, Matthew, Kyle and Michael; two siblings, Sally and Alan; and grandchildren.
