Jefferson Elementary Teacher Receives Mandana Bliss Award

Teacher Kim Boden has been recognized for her work at Jefferson Elementary.
Boden was presented the Mandana Bliss Award during the Jan. 9 School Board meeting. Student Lilian Chang made the presentation.
Chang cited Boden’s commitment to students, and helping her grow as a leader. Boden has been a teacher with the Stevens Point Area Public School District since August 1990.
Each month students have the opportunity to recognize a teacher that has profoundly impacted their educational experience. The award is given in the name of Mandana Bliss, the first teacher in the district.
