Bernard S. Bronk
Bernard S. Bronk, 77, Wisconsin Rapids, a Stevens Point native and brother of a Bancroft woman, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at home after an extended illness.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Jim Altman officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park in the town of Grand Rapids in Wood County.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
Memorials may be granted to the American Diabetes
Association or to SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Mr. Bronk was born Aug. 3, 1939, in Stevens Point, a son of
the late Edwin M. and Annie A. (Myska) Bronk.
He was married to Mary R. Billmeyer May 2, 1959, at SS.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
He was employed by Consolidated Papers, Consoweld Division,
for 34 years, retiring in 1998. For more than 30 years, he was also the
caretaker of the Woodland Girl Scout Council, Camp Sacagawea.
He belonged to the National Rifle Association and was a
lifetime member of the American Checkered Giant Rabbit Club.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary; three children,
Mike (Arlene) Bronk and Matthew Bronk, both of Wisconsin Rapids, and Theresa
Bronk, Appleton; one sister, Barbara A. (Dan Wanichek) Arnold, Bancroft; and one
