Jerome R. “Jerry” Rolstad, 79, Stevens Point, a retired
insurance agent and former member of the Stevens Point Board of Education, died
Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, in Alamo, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at the Stevens Point Country
Club at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.

Mr. Rolstad was born April 1, 1937, in rural Wilson, Wis., a
son of the late Henry and Haldis Rolstad. He graduated from Barron High School
in 1955.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls
with a degree in agriculture March 5, 1965.

He worked as a field foreman for Green Giant in Ripon.

He later became an agent with State Farm Insurance in
Whiting and retired 35 years later.

He was a member of the Lions Club and Elks Lodge and served
on the Stevens Point Area Board of Education.

Survivors include three children, Pamela (Jason Stoviak) Rolstad-Stoviak,
Fox Point, Lisa (Kester) Batchelor, Mound, Minn., and David (Carrie) Rolstad,
Stillwater, Minn.; two sisters, Lyndell Etlicher and Betty Granum; and five grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Denis Rolstad;
and two sisters, Lenore Snider and June Berg.
