Marjorie M. Herro
Marjorie Marie Herro, 91, Waupaca, mother of a Stevens Point
woman, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Goose Creek, S.C.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 2, at Wisconsin
Memorial Park in Brookfield, with the time to be announced later.

Mrs. Herro was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Loyal, a daughter of
the late Loy L. and Meta (Johnson) Rayhorn.
During World War II, she inspected airplane parts in the war
factory in Rockford, Ill. She was a longtime retail associate.
She was married to Woodrow “Woody” Herro. He preceded her in
death.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Herro Saunders,
Stevens Point, and Corrine J. (Michael) Herro Carmel, Goose Creek, S.C.; two
sons, Dale A. Herro, Milwaukee, and Bryan C. (Stephanie) Herro, Waupaca; one sister,
Carol Freeman, Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Russell
Rayhorn and Donald Rayhorn.
