Henry R. Soik, 92, Stevens Point, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at Willow Brooke Senior Living in Stevens Point.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.

Mr. Soik was born May 2, 1924, in the town of Stockton, a son
of the late John and Anna (Eron) Soik.

He was married to Theresa Pliska June 21, 1958, at St. Peter
Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She died Feb. 27, 2015.

After the marriage, they lived in Milwaukee, where he worked
for American Motors as an assembler. They then moved back to Stevens Point,
where he worked for Joerns, Lullabye and Weber Tackle before retiring from the
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

He picked raspberries and raised vegetables to sell at the
Farmers Market and donated produce to the convent.

Survivors include two sons, Martin and Thomas Soik, both of
Stevens Point; three daughters, Barb (Dave) Pozniak and Ann (Jerry) Helminiak,
both of Stevens Point, and Mary Ann (Thomas) Pavilglianti, Florida; five grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Steve,
Leonard, Raymond, David and Richard Soik; and two sisters, Theresa Rozek and
Evelyn Studzinski.
