Margaret H. Kulich, 87, Plover, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at the Portage County Health Care Center.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Steve Hulke presiding. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the town of Grand Rapids in Wood County.

Visitation is scheduled at Boston Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the service.

Memorials may be made to the Aging and Disability Resource
Center of Portage County or the Watson Institute for Autism.

Mrs. Kulich was born Oct. 10, 1929, in the town of Eau Pleine,
a daughter of the late Otto and Anna (Mueller) Wirth. She grew up in the
Stevens Point area, attended local grade schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs
High School in 1948.

Following high school, she moved to Milwaukee to work for
Briggs and Stratton but later returned to Stevens Point.

She was married to Raymond Kulich Oct., 20 1951, at St. Paul
Lutheran Church. He died in 1988.

She worked for the Blue Top Restaurant and later at the
North Side Bar as a waitress.

She and her husband bought the Skip Inn Tavern and renamed
it Chiefs Bar, operating the business for 15 years before selling it in 1978.

She worked at Erzinger’s Kiddy Korner retail store and then at
Copps grocery store for 15 years, retiring in 1995.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, its altar
guild and the Young At Heart. She was also a member of the local American
Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include five children, Karen (Mark) Spreda, Debbie
(Dave) McMahon, Chris (Mike) Derezinski, Ken (Sheila) Kulich and Scott (Jackie)
Kulich; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary; two
brothers; and nine sisters.
