Elaine J. ‘Joey’ Patterson

Elaine J. “Joey” Patterson, 71, Wautoma, a former Plainfield resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, in the Waushara Community Church in Wautoma, with the Rev. R. Alan Spitler officiating.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the services.

Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield assisted with arrangements.

Mrs. Patterson was born Jan. 21, 1946,along with her twin
brother Tom, in Minneapolis, Minn., a daughter of the late Roy and Elaine
Hartwick Weekly. She graduated from Tri County High School in Plainfield in
1964.

She later attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
and received a degree in education.

She was a first-grade teacher for the majority of her 25-year
career in education.

She was married to Robert Patterson Sept. 9, 1978.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert;
four children, Colleen (Joey) Dopp and Jennifer (Keith) Erickson, both of Wild
Rose, and Bill (Micki Miller) Patterson and Bob (Kelly Vroman) Patterson Jr.,
both of Plainfield; two brothers, her twin Tom (Diane) Weekly, Plainfield, and Steve
(Cheryll) Weekly, Wautoma; 11 grandchildren; three nephews; and five great-nieces.
