Elaine Helen Pulchinski, 88, of Stevens Point, died Wed. January 25, 2017, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital surrounded by her family.

Elaine was born on September 26, 1928 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Dorothy (Peplinski) Hintz. She attended local schools.

Her marriage to George Pulchinski took place on January 29, 1947, at St. Stanislaus Church. He passed away on May 24, 1996.

Elaine worked at Weber Tackle Company & Sentry Insurance as a chef in the cafeteria.

She was a member of the St. Peter Rosary Society.

She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved gardening, reading books and watching her Hallmark movies. She loved life, the outdoors and polka music.

Survivors include her children; Gary (Sue) Pulchinski, Judi (Tony) Piotrowski, Mark (Angela-fiancé) Pulchinski, Karen (Brian) Britz, Deb (Dennis) Krieger, Steve (Sarah) Pulchinski.

Grandchildren; Jerry, Arron, Jamie, Eric, Shawn, Ryan, Phillip, Kaitlyn, Kristin, Corey, Kyle, Jared, Kara, Erin, Tommy, Jennifer, Jessica, Marcus, and Adam; great-grandchildren; Grace, Sophie, Danica, Sydney, Austin, Hannah, Ashley, Tyler, and Vivian; sisters; Bonnie Syzmanski, Sally Pavolski, MaryAnn Niemczyk, Dorothy Gavin
Brothers; Kenneth Hintz, Gregory (Bud) Hintz.

She was preceded in death by; the love of her life, her husband George. Her parents Dorothy and Ben Hintz, her sister Dorothy Gavin, her brothers Kenneth Hintz and Gregory Hintz; her son Larry and daughter-in-law Nancy Pulchinski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday Jan. 28, 2017, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev. Arul Joseph V. will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation on Saturday from 8:30 AM until time of service in the St. Faustina room at the church. Parish rosary will be prayed at 9 AM on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Elaine’s name will be established at a later date. Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point is honored to be serving the family. For online condolences please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.
