Third Phantom Gallery Party Scheduled
For the City Times
Portage County is hosting its third Phantom Gallery Party on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 7 PM to 9 PM at a location to be revealed.
As part of its Thriving Entertainment goal, which supports more experienced-focused entertainment in Portage County, Phantom Galleries turn rough spaces into temporary art galleries for one night only. The events feature great art, great food, and great entertainment in an unexpected location somewhere in Portage County that will be revealed the day before.
Centered on the theme THAW, this experience will draw party goers out of the dark, cold of February into a warm night of creativity and color. This theme will be brought to life by visual artists Heidi Oberstadt, Karolee Bulak, Thomas Moberg, Dani Schafer, Ashley Pfannenstiel, and Jb Battaglia whose work will be for sale the night of the event.
Proceeds generated by CREATE experiences support investments in the arts, culture and creativity in Portage County. In addition to supporting future experiences, these funds support public art initiatives, arts advocacy, place-making efforts, and the IDEA Center.
Tickets are $35 and are available online via Eventbrite. Visit www.createportagecounty.org for more information.
