Roger H. Dorshorst

Roger H. Dorshorst, 73, Rudolph, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at his home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at noon Wednesday, Feb. 1, at St. Philip Catholic Church in Rudolph, with the Rev. Dave Bruener officiating. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Rudolph at a later date.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass.

Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.ritchayfuneralhome.com.

Mr. Dorshorst was born April 17, 1943, in Stevens Point, a
son of the late Henry and Clara (O’Shasky) Dorshorst.

He was married to Victoria L. Mancl June 20, 1964, at St.
Philip Catholic Church in Rudolph.

He was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc. for 33 years,
retiring in 1998 as the pulp mill shift supervisor. He also worked for Junction
City Milk Products from 1961 to 1966, was a school bus driver for Safe-Way
Transit from 1964 to 1971 and was a driver for Keuntjes Trucking and Pagels
Trucking for many years.

He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, the
Rudolph Senior Citizens Club and the St. Philip Church Choir.

Survivors include his wife, Victoria; two sons, Todd (Roseann)
Dorshorst and Ronald (Julie Lynn) Dorshorst, both of Rudolph; one daughter,
Julie Ann Tokarski, Rudolph; one brother, Arlyn (Lorraine) Dorshorst, Rudolph;
one sister, Romelle (John) Lom, Wisconsin Rapids;eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Darwin
Dorshorst.
