Saliba G. Ghory, 77, Stevens Point, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Holy Spirit Parish in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.

Mr. Ghory was born April 30, 1939, in Jerusalem, Israel, a
son of the late George and Baky Zacharia Ghory.
He moved to California in 1980 and began working as a
service station manager in Belmont, Calif. He worked there until he became
disabled in an accident.
During his career he won employee of the year numerous times
within the company and also was named employee of the year in the city of
Belmont.
He became an American citizen in 1987.
He was married to Catherine (Carroll) Bell Sept. 27, 2002,
in Virginia.
They moved to Stevens Point in 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine; two sisters, Laurice
Widad Ghory, Jerusalem, and Rose Juzy, Beirut; three nieces; and two nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Karim; one
sister, Karimeh Ziadeh; and two infant brothers.
