In celebration of their 20th anniversary, The Pineries Bank announced plans for a major addition and expansion in operations to serve Portage County’s future financial needs.

The addition will allow the bank to increase their level of service and, in turn, their Customers’ satisfaction, while continuing their commitment to banking ‘the traditional way’. The bank will continue its vision of using common sense values instead of formulas and algorithms to make decisions for their institution and the community.

The addition will create a larger lobby with expanded teller space, additional offices for commercial and residential loan support, as well as additional conference rooms and room for expansion. The unique log cabin design, for which the bank has become well known, will continue into the interior of the bank, blending the existing structure with the new features.

The Stevens Point Plan Commission Council approval is anticipated in February, along with Common Council approval. Construction is anticipated to begin on the project in mid-April 2017.
