Betty J. Raab

Betty J. Raab, 81, formerly of Nekoosa, sister of two Stevens Point women, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at Atrium Post Acute Care of Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Christian Life Fellowship in Port Edwards, with the Rev. Jeff O’Connor officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the village of Port Edwards Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Mrs. Raab was born July 9, 1935, in Mosinee, a daughter of
the late Emil and Lillian (Heller) Buska.
She was married to Frank Raab May 14, 1955, in Nekoosa. He
died Nov. 5, 2009.
She was a homemaker and a seasonal worker at Del Monte,
Ocean Spray and at area cranberry marshes.
She was a member of Christian Life Fellowship and of the Red
Hat Ladies. For many years, she cleaned Evergreen Assembly of God Church, where
she also taught Sunday school.
Survivors include two children, Cynthia (Greg “Motor”
Reiman) Norton, town of Cranmoor, and Thomas (Pamela) Raab, Wisconsin Rapids;
three sisters, Darlene Johnson, Wisconsin Rapids, and Barb (Lynn) Holmes and
Connie (Bob) Erickson, both of Stevens Point; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one infant son, John; one
son, Francis; one daughter, Bette-Jo; and one brother, Emil Buska.
