Beatrice Havel

Beatrice Havel, 76, Rudolph, a Stevens Point native, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at University of Wisconsin Hospitals in Madison.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa, with the Rev. John Swing officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Nekoosa.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the services.

Mrs. Havel was born May 28, 1940, in Stevens Point, a
daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Kedrowski) Keen.
She was married to Steven Havel Aug. 8, 1959, at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Nekoosa.
She was a homemaker who attended Mid-State Technical College
and earned an associate degree in computer science once the children had grown.
She was formerly employed at Renaissance Learning, Boldt
Construction, Cherney Construction, Specialty Minerals of Wisconsin Rapids and
Earth Inc. of Sherry.
Survivors include her husband, Steven; three children,
Michael (Lisa) Havel, Laura (Larry) Derezinski and Todd Havel, all of Wisconsin
Rapids; one brother, Eugene “Toby” (JoAnn) Keen, Wisconsin Rapids; seven
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
