Audrey Helen Haase, 89, Weston, mother of an Almond woman, died
Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Mount View Care Center in Wausau.


A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10,
at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Schofield, with the Rev. Walter
Davidson officiating. Entombment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in
Wausau.


Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until
the service.


Memorials may be directed to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran
Church, 1351 South Grand Ave., Schofield, WI 54476 or Northland Lutheran High
School, 2107 Tower Road, Kronenwetter, WI 54455.

with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at
www.brainardfuneral.com.


Mrs. Haase was born Dec. 8, 1927, in Kaukauna, a daughter of
the late Herbert and Hulda (Buetow) Specht. She attended Kaukauna High School
and Outagamie County Teachers College.


She was married to Daniel R. Haase July 10, 1948, at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Kaukauna. He died in November 1989.


She was past president of the Ladies’ Legion Auxiliary in
Appleton, a member of the Ladies Aid of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton
and at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Schofield.


She and her husband owned and operated the Ziebart
Rustproofing business in Schofield and Wisconsin Rapids.


Survivors include one son, John (Terri) Haase, Wisconsin
Rapids; two daughters, Sharon (Bob Seemann) Zastrow, Almond, and Diane (Steve)
Wilde, Schofield; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by one son, Daniel L. Haase;
one brother, David Specht; and one great-grandson.
