Nancy R. Steinke
Nancy Rae (Borgen) Steinke, 84, Amherst, died Saturday, Feb.
4, 2017, at her home after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18,
at Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until

Mrs. Steinke was born Nov. 23, 1932, in Amherst, a daughter
of the late Sherman and Esther (Olsen) Borgen.
She was married to Harlan Steinke.
She was one of the first employees hired by Godfrey &
Kahn law firm in 1957. She spent her entire career working as a legal secretary
for the firm until her retirement in 1995.
Survivors include her husband, Harlan Steinke; two
daughters, Julie (Alex Mohler) Topetzes, Milwaukee, and Kelly Tedesco, Amherst;
one sister, Mary Miller, Appleton; and three grandchildren.
