Daniel Cieslewicz
Daniel Cieslewicz, 83, a former Stevens Point area resident,
died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Friday, Feb.
17, at St. Boniface Church in Germantown.
Visitation was scheduled at the Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home
in Menomonee Falls from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday Feb. 16, and at the church from 11
a.m. Friday until the Mass.

Mr. Cieslewicz was born Sept. 27, 1933, in the town of
Franzen in Marathon County, a son of the late Leo and Bridget Cieslewicz. He
graduated from Wittenberg High School.
After growing up near Stevens Point, he moved to Milwaukee
and later settled with his family in Germantown.
He served as a radar operator in the U.S. Air Force and was
stationed in Alaska.
In addition to farming for many years, he was employed at
American Motors in Milwaukee and was a mechanical assembler at MG Cutting
Systems. Later he held positions at Griffin Dodge and NAPA.
He volunteered as a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts and was
a member of the Kettle Moraine Snowmobile Club.
Survivors include two children, Judith Dunn and James
(Therese) Cieslewicz; four siblings, Rose Marie Gustafson, Loretta (Daniel)
Hecyk, Annette (John) Tallafuss and David (Rose) Cieslewicz.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years,
Patricia; two sisters, Ruth and Genevieve; and one brother, Conrad.
