4th Annual 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association

The 4th Annual ‘Shamrock Shuffle’ 5K Walk/Run takes place on Sunday, March 19, in Custer.

Clancey’s Stone Lion hosts this annual event, and all proceeds will support the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Wisconsin.

Registration begins at 10 AM, with the walk/run to follow at 11 AM via a scene route through Custer.

“We and many of our friends have been personally touched by this devastating disease for which there is presently no cure,” said Jacki Clancey, owner of Clancey’s Stone Lion. “The Shamrock Shuffle is our way of creating awareness while funding important research and support services.”

The registration fee is $25 March 8 and $35 thereafter. Each participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt and on-site registration is available.

The event will feature beverages, snacks and a costume contest with prizes awarded for the best “Wearing of the Green.”
