Charles ‘Dean’ Rodeback

Charles “Dean” Rodeback, 58, Rural Norske (Iola), died unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 17, 2017.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5431 Golla Road, Stevens Point. Burial will be at the Northland Lutheran Church Cemetery, Highway 49, Iola.
Visitation will be at the church from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Mr. Rodeback was born Aug. 12, 1958, in Chicago, Ill., a son
of Carole Dean Rodeback and the late Charles Hutchison Rodeback. He graduated
in 1976 from Hampshire High School in Hampshire, Ill.
He was married to Cynthia Lynn Rice April 4, 1979, in Salt
Lake City, Utah.
He was a lifelong diesel mechanic, most recently working at
IROW in Mosinee. In Illinois he had been employed by Drexler Horse
Transportation, Buck Bros./John Deere, and Allen’s Corner Towing, all of
Hampshire.
He was a 4-H leader for Hampshire Jr. Farmers, cubmaster
with Hampshire Pack 22, and the president of the Ag Advisory Council at
Hampshire High School. In Wisconsin, he was a member of Rosholt FFA Alumni.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Carsen James,
Tampa, Fla., Forrest Glen (Marisha Perry), Blackfoot, Idaho, and Darcie Lynn,
Norske (Iola); his mother, Carole, Montana; eight siblings, Catherine Rodeback,
Virginia, Barb (Chuck) Barrett, Montana, Danny (Anita) Rodeback, Minnesota,
Linda (Mac) Suarez, Illinois, Steve (Lori) Rodeback, Illinois, Paul (Ycinda)
Rodeback, Illinois, Nancy “Jack” (Darren) Sundquist, Minnesota, and Cynthia
Hinsley, Montana; and two granddaughters.
