Stella A. Broten, 91, Stevens Point, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Holy Spirit Parish in Stevens Point. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Mrs. Broten was born July 18, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., a
daughter of the late Frank and Susan (Polak) Majka.

She was married to Raymond Broten July 3, 1948, at
St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He died March 2, 2004.

She worked at Weber Tackle for many years before retiring.

Survivors include nine children, Elaine Broton, Barbara
Broton and Nancy DeMeyer, all of Plover, Larry Broton, Christine Broton and Jeff
Broton, all of Stevens Point, Dorothy Broton, California, and Dennis (Jo)
Broton and Randy Broton, both of Wisconsin Rapids; 13 grandchildren; and 19
great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary.
