Arthur William Barber, 95, Iola, formerly of Scandinavia, died
Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25,
at Scandinavia Lutheran Church in Scandinavia, with the Rev. David Eisele
officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until
the service.

Mr. Barber was born Sept. 7, 1921, in Cook County, Ill., a
son of the late Alice (Peterson) and William A Barber.

He was married to Rose Marie Favretto March 9, 1946, in
Illinois.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He worked as the payroll manager at the Waupaca Foundry for more
than 30 years.

He was a member of the Iola Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie Barber, Iola; one son,
Art (Sharon) Barber, Stevens Point; two grandchildren, Dale Hicks, Iola, and Jackie
Ridge, Stevens Point; and one great-grandson.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen
Hicks.
