She Said Yes: Couple Gets Engaged at Local Restaurant

Samantha Windsor had no idea what was about to happen.
Windsor’s boyfriend, Jason Raasch, had just risen from his seat at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar on Hwy. 10E to shake hands with the restaurant manager, who had stopped at their table to check on their meal.
Raasch, 30, pointed to Windsor, told the manager they’d been dating for one year, then asked her to stand. She began to cry almost immediately.
A shocked Windsor, who hails from Plainfield, gasped as Raasch pulled a ring box from his pocket, and told the 26-year-old that he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
Before the restaurant’s dinner customers and staff, she said yes.
The couple currently lives in Waupaca.
