Adelle I. Somers, 91, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Atrium Point Manor where she has resided for the past five years. She is the last survivor of 15 children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

A memorial will be established in her name for the Alzheimer’s
Association of Wisconsin.

Shuda Funeral Service assisted with arrangements. Condolences
may be offered online at www.shudafuneral.com.

Mrs. Somers was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Fancher, a daughter
of the late Felix and Martha (Konkol) Jastromski.

She was married to Ray Somers June 7, 1947, at St. Peter
Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He died in August 1994.

The couple settled in Stevens Point.

She worked at Taylor Drug Store, Roska Pharmacy, Holt Drug and
Park Ridge Pharmacy and retired in August 2000 at age 75.

She was a volunteer at the Lincoln Center and the Red Cross
Blood Bank.

She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Wilson, Beacon Falls,
Conn., and Judy (John) Yauch, Plover; one son, DuWayne “Duke” (Pam) Somers,
Plover; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one
great-stepgranddaughter.

She was also preceded in death by 14 siblings, John
Jastromski, Sue Domack, Ann Kubisiak, Betty Schlewski, Bernice Helminski, Chet
Jastromski, Alvin Jastromski, Pauline Dolski, Sister Ernestine SSJ-TOSF, Edie
Binnebose, infant Myron Jastromski, Severine Nowak and twin girls who died at
birth.
