Lynn Filiatrault, 81, Almond, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017,
while under the care of Aspirus Hospice services in Wausau.


A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March
11, at Immanuel Church in Brookfield.


Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday,
March 11, until the service.


Memorials are appreciated to Aspirus Hospice services, 520
N. 32nd Ave., Wausau, WI 54401 or St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church
(meditation garden), 8611 WI-54, Almond WI 54909.


Brainard Funeral Home in Wausau assisted with arrangements.
Condolences may be offered online at brainardfuneral.com.


Mrs. Filiatrault was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Manitoba, Canada,
a daughter of the late Adolf and Rose Buss. She immigrated to Wisconsin in
1957.


She was married to Thomas Paul Shepherd in 1958 in
Brookfield. He died in 1992.


The family moved to Waukesha in 1968 where they raised three
children.


She was married to Tom Filiatrault in 2001.


They lived between Almond and Green Valley, Ariz.


Survivors include her husband, Tom Filiatrault; three
children, Lori (Scott Howells) Shepherd, Wausau, Cheri (Scott) Lindblom,
Charlotte, N.C., and Brent (Stephanie) Shepherd, Chilton; one sister, Janet Buss,
Mayoban, N.C.; seven grandchildren; stepchildren; nieces; and nephews.


She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer “Al”
and Ron Buss.
